Blake Named to Biletnikoff Award Watch List
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas redshirt senior O’Mega Blake has been named to the preseason watch list for the 2025 Biletnikoff Award, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced Wednesday.
The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the college football season’s outstanding FBS receiver. Any player, regardless of position (wide receiver, tight end, slot back, and running back) who catches a pass is eligible for the award. As such, the Biletnikoff Award recognizes college football’s outstanding receiver, not merely college football’s outstanding wide receiver.
Blake arrives in Fayetteville after spending the 2024 season at Charlotte and the 2021-23 seasons at South Carolina. At Charlotte, he started nine of 12 games while catching 32 passes for a team-leading 795 yards and a team-high nine touchdowns. His 24.8 yards per catch ranked second nationally among all FBS pass catchers. The Rock Hill, S.C., product registered three 100+ yard receiving games, highlighted by a career-high 205 yards on five receptions and three touchdowns during a 39-27 win at Florida Atlantic on Nov. 23, 2024. While at South Carolina, Blake started four games as a redshirt sophomore in 2023, catching 19 passes for 250 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
The Biletnikoff Award’s semifinalists, three finalists, and award recipient are selected by the highly distinguished Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a group of 600 prominent college football journalists, commentators, announcers, Biletnikoff Award winners, and other former receivers.
Semifinalists for the award will be announced on Nov. 17, before the three finalists are selected on Nov. 25. The winner of the 2025 Biletnikoff Award will be announced on Dec. 11, 2025, during The Home Depot College Football Awards Show.
Arkansas opened fall camp last week. The Razorbacks kick off the 2025 season on Saturday, Aug. 30, when they welcome Alabama A&M to Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium for a 3:15 p.m. matchup on SEC Network.
