Nia Carter moves into a student assistant role after completing her accomplished college career as a Razorback in 2024.
As a graduate senior in 2024, Carter batted .307 with 47 hits, four doubles, three triples, a home run, 19 RBI and seven walks, helping lead the Razorbacks to a 37-18 record and a No. 12 national seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Prior to arriving in Fayetteville, Carter spent the 2020-23 seasons at Iowa where she started 117 games, including every contest of her sophomore, junior and senior campaigns while earning Softball America Third-Team Honors in 2023 and NFCA All-Region First-Team honors in 2023 and 2022. During her three seasons as a Hawkeye, she posted a .415 batting average with 237 hits, 74 RBI, 96 runs scored and 49 walks. Her .415 batting average ranks first in Iowa’s program history.
A native of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Carter earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Iowa in the spring of 2023.
