D-Line Duo Joins On The Air With Bret Bielema

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – “On the Air with Bret Bielema,” Coach Bielema’s weekly radio show presented by AT&T and West Rock Coffee Company, returns on Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the Catfish Hole. This week’s show will feature the defensive line duo of sophomore T.J. Smith and senior Bijhon Jackson as the Razorbacks prepare for Saturday’s SEC road opener at South Carolina.

Live from the Catfish Hole for the ninth straight year, Chuck Barrett, the voice of the Razorbacks, will host Coach Bielema on the one-hour show. Fans can make reservations to attend the show by calling the Catfish Hole at 479-521-7008. Tickets are $25 and include an all you can eat dinner buffet with catfish, shrimp and chicken.

Smith, from Moultrie, Georgia, has settled in as a first-year starter in the Razorbacks’ 3-4 scheme, turning in eight tackles including 1.0 for a 2-yard loss, and one quarterback hurry in four starts this season.

Jackson, a veteran along the defensive front, has played in 42 of a possible 43 games since arriving to Fayetteville in 2014. Of the El Dorado, Arkansas, native’s 31 career tackles, 7.0 have been for lost yardage with 2.5 being sacks.

The show will be carried throughout the state of Arkansas on the Razorback Sports Network and locally in Fayetteville on 99.5 FM, 92.1 FM and 93.3 FM.

Kickoff on Saturday is scheduled for 3 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on the SEC Network with Dave Neal (play-by-play), Matt Stinchcomb (analyst) and Dawn Davenport (reporter) on the call.
