Doubles Duo in Final at ITF Fayetteville Futures

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The duo of juniors Adrien Burdet and Melvin Manuel won their third match of the tournament to advance to the doubles final at the ITF 15K Fayetteville Futures on Friday.

In the semifinals, it was a tough matchup between the Razorback pair and USF’s Chase Ferguson and Finn Reynolds. The Hogs claimed a tight first set, 6-4, with their opponent fighting in the second set to keep coming back and tying it up. The Arkansas duo came out on top though, winning the second set 7-5.

Burdet and Manuel will face the young duo of Belgian Alessio Basile and American Cooper Williams in the final tomorrow following the semifinal singles match at 10 a,.m. CT.
