Wednesday’s game marks the 28th meeting between the two programs with Tulsa holding a 15-12 advantage in the all-time series. The Razorbacks and Golden Hurricane have split 10 games played in Fayetteville. This will be the fourth meeting at Bogle Park with Arkansas looking for its first home win against Tulsa since the 2005 season. In a home-and-home season series, the teams will meet again April 12 in Tulsa.

As a team, Arkansas enters the week with a .307 batting average and is third in the SEC with 30 home runs. The Razorbacks hit four home runs during their conference-opening weekend at No. 16 Tennessee with big flies from Rachel Box and Ashley Diaz. Three of the four home runs came off the bat of Diaz who hit a solo shot in each of the three games to raise her team-leading total to nine. The Razorback freshman enters Wednesday with a 17-game hitting streak.

Diaz leads the team and is sixth in the SEC with her .470 batting average. She is followed by junior Shelby Hiers who carries a .352 batting average with home runs. With six home runs this season, redshirt junior Nicole Schroeder is one round tripper shy of becoming the eighth player in program history to reach 20 in a career. In the circle, Grace Moll paces the staff with seven wins and 62 strikeouts.

After their midweek contest, the Razorbacks continue their non-conference break with a second trip to California this season. Arkansas is part of the nine-team field at this weekend’s Easton Tournament in Fullerton, Calif. The Razorbacks’ SEC home opener is scheduled for March 25-27 at Bogle Park against No. 15 Kentucky.
