Ideal Forecast For Hogs and Frogs

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – With the forecast calling for mostly sunny skies and temperatures around 80 degrees, Saturday figures to be a perfect weather day for Arkansas’ non-conference showdown with No. 23 TCU at Donald W. Arkansas (1-0) earned a 49-7 win over Florida A&M last Thursday night in Little Rock while TCU (1-0) recorded a 63-0 win over Jackson State on the opening weekend in Fort Worth.

Below is a look at Saturday’s projected forecast at kickoff:

• Mostly sunny
• 82 degrees
• 3 percent chance of precipitation
• 42 percent humidity
• Winds SE at 5 mph

Single game tickets for Saturday’s matchup against the Horned Frogs are available for purchase online or by calling the Razorback Ticket Office at 1-800-982-HOGS (4647).

In a rematch of last year’s 41-38 double-overtime win in Fort Worth, Texas, TCU will head to The Hill for the first time since 1988 when both the Horned Frogs and Razorbacks were members of the Southwest Conference (SWC).

Last year’s thriller saw quarterback Austin Allen complete 17 of 29 passes for 223 yards and three touchdowns. Allen led the Razorbacks to the tying score in the final two minutes of regulation, going 4-for-4 with a touchdown pass and then catching the tying 2-point conversion with 1:03 remaining. He later ran 5 yards for the winning score in the second overtime to lift Arkansas to victory, snapping TCU’s 14-game home winning streak.
