GREAT ABACO, Bahamas – Seven months after finding himself in the final pairing on Sunday at the U.S. Open, former Razorback Andrew Landry has captured a victory on the Web.com Tour, clearing the field by three shots at the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic at The Abaco Club.

Landry caught fire on Sunday and signed a 5-under 67 to capture the title in the field of 135 players. He recorded 19 birdies and two eagles during the four-day event and had just two bogeys during the final 54 holes of competition.

Over the final 11 holes at The Abaco Club, he went 7-under, rolling in two eagles and three birdies to seal the deal and record a 3-shot victory with rounds of 71-68-66-67 – 272 (-16). Landry picks up his second Web.com tour victory after winning an event during the 2015 season.

During his three years at Arkansas from 2007-09, Landry earned All-SEC honors three times, received honorable mention All-American honors in 2007 and 2008 and third-team All-American honors in 2009. His 72.61 stroke average in 114 collegiate rounds is the fourth-best mark in program history.

Arkansas was well represented in the field, as Austin Cook finished T-15th at 6-under, while Sebastian Cappelen finished T-31st at 2-under.

The Web.com Tour continues Feb. 9-12 in Bogota, Colombia, at the Club Colombia Championship by Servientrega.
