FAYETTEVILLE – The #10/8 Arkansas Razorbacks host the UNC Asheville Bulldogs on Wednesday (Dec. 21). Tipoff is set for 8 pm (CT) and the game will be televised on SEC Network.

  • This will be the first meeting between Arkansas and UNC Asheville.
  • Coach Musselman is 3-0 versus Big South schools. His first career win – also his first collegiate game as a head coach – came versus Coastal Carolina (now a member of the Sun Belt Conference). The game was on Nov. 13, 2015, and Nevada won, 73-56, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Musselman also defeated Radford while at Nevada and took down Gardner-Webb with the Razorbacks last season.
  • Arkansas is 10-1 to start this season. It marks the 23rd time in the program’s 100 years to start at least 10-1. Coach Muss has started at least 9-1 in all four seasons, including a 12-1 start in his first year with the Razorbacks.
  • Since Coach Muss’ arrival at Arkansas, the Razorbacks have won 83 games. That is the most by any SEC team over the span with Auburn coming in second at 75
  • Arkansas’ defense stole the show versus Bradley last time out. The Razorbacks had 16 steals – the most by any Eric Musselman-coach college team – and forced 27 turnovers. It was the fourth time Arkansas has forced 20-plus turnovers in 11 games this season. By comparison, Arkansas only accomplished the feat three times in 35 games last season.
  • Arkansas had four dunks versus Bradley and has thrown down 51 dunks this season (4.6 per game). Last season, Arkansas had 103 dunks (2.9 per game).
