FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas hits the road for a two-game road trip starting Saturday (Feb. 15) at #8/9 Texas A&M. Tipoff in Reed Arena is set for 11 am (CT) and the game will be televised on ESPN.

Arkansas, winners in four of its last six games,  swept the season series with Texas A&M last year. However, the rivals will only play once this year. It is just the fourth time since A&M joined the SEC in 2012-13 that the programs have only met once in a season.

The Razorbacks will wrap the road trip by traveling to current #1/2 Auburn on Wednesday.

NOTES:

  • Texas A&M is Arkansas’ most common opponent and the series dates back to the Razorbacks’ first season of basketball (1923-24). Arkansas and Texas A&M have met on 169 previous occasions.
  • The Razorbacks own a 108-61 advantage in the series. The 108 wins are the most wins for Arkansas versus an opponent.
  • Since A&M joined the SEC for the 2012-13 season, Arkansas owns a slight 13-10 advantage in the series. The home team has been dominant in the series since A&M joined the SEC with Arkansas holding a 10-1 advantage in Bud Walton Arena while the Aggies own a 7-3 advantage in games played at Reed Arena.
  • With Arkansas facing #8 Texas A&M on Saturday, that will mark the third top-10 conference opponent this season. Then, Arkansas will play a fourth top-10 team (#1 Auburn) on Wednesday. That is the most AP top-10 opponents Arkansas has faced in regular-season (excluding conference tourneys) play (both SEC and SWC). Arkansas played at #1 Tennessee on Jan. 4, hosted #8 Florida on Jan. 11, plays at #8 Texas A&M on Feb. 15 and plays at current #1 Auburn on Feb. 19. NOTE: Arkansas also played #8 Baylor in an non-conference game on Nov. 9 in Dallas this year.
  • Arkansas played 3 top-10 conference opponents in 2021, 2003, 2002 and played two in 2024, 2023, 2022, 2019, 2013, 2007, 2006, 2001, 1999, 1997, 1984, 1957.
  • Johnell Davis is known as a scorer, but, over the last six games, he leads the team with 17 steals. He only had 10 steals in his first 16 games.
  • Zvonimir Ivisic is the only player in the NCAA who has made at least 35 3-pointers (39) and blocked at least 40 shots (45).
