FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas returns home to host #15/16 Missouri on Wednesday (Feb. 22). Tipoff in Bud Walton Arena is set for 7 pm (CT) and the game will be televised on ESPN.

During the game, Arkansas will celebrate its 1990 NCAA Final Four team.

The Razorbacks stay home to host Texas on Wednesday (Feb. 26). Tipoff is set for 8 pm.

NOTES:

  • This will be the 64th meeting between Arkansas and Missouri all time and the second of two this season.
  • Arkansas leads the all-time series, 35-28, and has won 8 of the last 11.
  • Since Missouri joined the SEC in 2012-13 the borders rivals have played 26 times with Arkansas owning a 16-10 advantage.
  • Arkansas leads 20-10 in games playing in Fayetteville, including a 10-2 mark since the Tigers joined the SEC.
  • Among the games played in Fayetteville was when #2 Arkansas hosted Missouri for the Bud Walton Arena dedication game on Dec. 2, 1993. Arkansas won that game, 120-68. (NOTE: While the Mizzou game was the dedication game for Bud Walton Arena, it was actually the second regular-season played in the facility. Arkansas defeated Murray State, 93-67, on Nov. 29, 1993, in the first regular-season game in Bud Walton Arena.).
  • Last month versus Missouri, Arkansas was down early (20-4) but continued to fight, cutting its deficit to 10 twice in the second half. The last, the Razorbacks trailed 70-60 with 6:22 left and had two free throws to make it an eight-point game potentially. However, Arkansas came up empty, Mizzou went on a 6-0 run and came away with an 83-65 victory at Mizzou Arena. The result spoiled the first career double-double by Zvonimir Ivisic (14 points and 10 rebounds). Adou Thiero added 12 points, six rebounds and three blocked shots. Two keys to the Missouri win were the Tigers going 14-of-19 at the free throw line, compared to Arkansas going 4-of-8, and the Tigers making 11 3-pointers compared to the Hogs’ five. Five Tigers scored in double figures including 17 points from Tamar Bates and 17 from Caleb Grill.
