FAYETTEVILLE – After back-tp=back road games, Arkansas returns home to play two straight in Bud Walton Arena. The homestand starts Tuesday (Jan. 16) versus rival Texas A&M. Tipoff is set for 8 pm (CT) and the game will be televised on SEC Network.

The homestand wraps up Saturday (Jan. 20) versus South Carolina at Noon on SEC Network.

NOTES:

  • Texas A&M is Arkansas’ most common opponent and the series dates back to the Razorbacks’ first season of basketball. Arkansas and Texas A&M have met on 167 previous occasions and are meeting for the first of two times this year. The next closest, most-common Razorback opponents are Texas and SMU, each at 155 games.
  • The Razorbacks own a 106-61 advantage in the series, including a 61-15 scoresheet in games played in Fayetteville. The 106 wins are the most wins for Arkansas versus an opponent.
  • However, since A&M joined the SEC for the 2012-13 season, Arkansas owns a slight 11-10 advantage in the series. The home team has been dominant in the series since A&M joined the SEC with Arkansas holding a 9-1 advantage in Bud Walton Arena while the Aggies own a 7-2 advantage in games played at Reed Arena.
  • Davonte Davis is eight rebounds and nine assists shy of joining Todd Day as the only Razorbacks to post at least 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 300 assists.
  • Arkansas ranks third in the NCAA in blocked shots (6.6 avg.). In losses at Georgia and at Florida, Arkansas blocked seven and eight shots, respectively.
