FAYETTEVILLE – Last year, the Razorbacks faced Baylor in Dallas’ American Airlines Center. This year, Arkansas returns on Dec. 13 to face Texas Tech in a repeat of last year’s NCAA Sweet 16 match-up, dubbed the “Revocruit Rematch.” Tipoff is set for 11 am (CT) and the game will be televised on ESPN2.

Arkansas and former Southwest Conference rival Texas Tech have met on 81 previous occasions with the Red Raiders owning a 41-40 advantage, thanks to Tech’s overtime win in last year’s Sweet 16.

After the trip to Dallas, Arkansas returns to Bud Walton Arena to host Queens on Tuesday (Dec. 16). Tipoff is set for 8 pm (CT) and the game will be televised on SEC Network.

NOTES:

  • The Red Raiders lead the series, 7-5, in games played on neutral courts and 3-1 in games played in Dallas. HOWEVER: Arkansas is 1-0 versus Texas Tech in games played in American Airlines Center, beating the Red Raiders, 78-65, in the O’Reilly Christmas Classic (Dec. 21, 2005). The other three meetings in Dallas came in the Southwest Tournament. Tech won in the 1976 SWC semis in Moody Coliseum, won in the 1985 SWC Championship in Reunion Arena and won in the 1987 SWC quarters in Reunion Arena.
  • Overall, Arkansas has won 10 of the last 14 meetings.
