Pre-game activities set for the Trough

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. –- The AT&T Trough at The University of Arkansas is going to be a busy place during football game days this fall, beginning with Saturday’s 6 p.m. season-opener against Western Illinois in Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

The Trough is a tailgating area located north of the stadium near the Tyson Poultry Science Center. The area opens three hours before kickoff with the team walk-through scheduled for two hours and 15 minutes before game time. Immediately following the walk-through, a pep rally for each game is scheduled to be led by the Razorback spirit squads.

The Trough has activities for all ages, including areas with televisions and seating for watching other games, and a Gatorade Kid’s Zone, as well as entertainment provided by Jon and Deek from The Eagle 93.3 FM. Former Razorback legend Tony Bua is going to be signing autographs at the Old Spice and Eggland’s Best Eggs Legends Tent.

AQ Chicken, Backyard Burgers and Papa John’s are going to be available with food to satisfy fans’ appetites. Sponsor booths are going to be set up from AT&T, World of Wireless, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Old Spice and Eggland’s Best.

Fans can also purchase Razorback merchandise from the Hog Heaven Store.

Also on site near the Legends Tent is an area reserved for the Razorback Helmet Cart, which was a fixture at past Little Rock games.
