Last Time Out

  • The Razorbacks beat Pittsburg State in their first exhibition game of 2019, 97-63.
  • The Hogs were led by Chelsea Dungee, who put up an efficient 26 points, shooting 10 of 14 from the field and 5 of 6 from the stripe.
  • Amber Ramirez was great in her Razorback debut, going for 23 points, 15 of which came from deep (5-9 3PT). Ramirez put on a show in the first half, scoring 19 points.
  • Ramirez’s five treys were the second most ever by a Hog in an exhibition game (Cosper, 6, 11/2/17, Northeastern State).
  • Freshman guard Makayla Daniels had a great debut in her own right, scoring 17 points in her first start. Daniels would finish the game shooting a whopping 75 percent from the field, and would go a perfect 4 of 4 at the free throw line. Daniels also led the hogs with four steals.
  • Taylah Thomas performed well after getting the start, chipping in six points and seven rebounds.
  • Alexis Tolefree also reached double-figures in the win, scoring 13 points on 5 of 9 shooting.
  • Kiara Williams was a force on the glass during her 11 minutes played, pulling down seven rebounds, tied for the team lead.
  • 1,390 people turned out, the highest mark for an exhibition game since 2015 vs. Missouri Southern.
