#ProHogs in the NFL – Week 1
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Here is a look at how the 16 former Arkansas football players active on NFL rosters fared this past weekend in Week 1 of the 2023 NFL season.
BEST OF WEEK 1
Kamren Curl, DB, Washington Commanders
Curl guided Washington’s defense with a team-high 10 tackles (eight solo) and a pass deflection in the Commanders’ 20-16 win vs. Arizona. Playing in all 58 defensive snaps on Sunday, Curl recorded his fifth career double-digit tackle performance. Despite playing in just 12 games in 2022 due to injuries, Curl is coming off of a season where he finished third on the team in total tackles with 88.
Hunter Henry, TE, New England Patriots
Henry provided a spark for New England’s offense despite the loss. Hauling in five receptions for 56 yards (11.2 ypc) and a touchdown, Henry finished third on the Patriots in receiving yards. In 2022, Henry appeared in 17 games with 14 starts, tallying 41 receptions for 509 receiving yards and two touchdowns for the Patriots.
