#ProHogs In The NFL – Week 1

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – During the inaugural week of the 2024 NFL Season, 10 of the 16 former Arkansas football players active on NFL rosters saw game action.

BEST OF WEEK 1
Jake Bates, K, Detroit Lions
Bates nailed a game-tying 32-yard field goal with 20 seconds left in regulation during his NFL debut, helping lead the Lions to 26-20 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Bates was 2-2 on field goals attempts, having also connected on a 25-yard field goal. The Tomball, Texas product also made both extra-point attempts during the win. In addition to field goals, Bates kicked off five times for 324 yards (64.8), sending four of his five kickoffs through the end zone for touchbacks.

Cam Little, K, Jacksonville Jaguars
Little connected on a 53-yard field goal to end the first half of the Jaguars’ 20-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. His 53-yard field goal was tied for the fifth-longest among NFL kickers in week one. Little nailed both of his extra-point attempts as well during the contest, to finish with five points. Additionally, Little sent all three of his kickoffs for touchbacks.
