#ProHogs In The NFL – Week 3 Report
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Here’s a look at how the 12 former Arkansas football players active on NFL rosters fared this past weekend in Week 3 of the NFL season.
BEST OF WEEK 3
Trey Flowers, DE, Detroit Lions
It took him a couple of weeks, but former Hog Trey Flowers looked worth the off-season signing with Detroit on Sunday against Philadelphia. Flowers turned in a team-high eight tackles in the 27-24 victory, the Lions’ second of the year. The eight stops tied his career high and he also recorded his first sack of the year as he brought down Carson Wentz to end the first half. Flowers has started all three games so far this year and totaled 11 tackles, which is seventh-most on the team.
Frank Ragnow, C, Detroit Lions
Frank Ragnow continued to show why he might be one of the top centers in the NFL as he made his third-consecutive start in the Lions’ win over the Eagles. Ragnow doesn’t get the chance to put up a lot of numbers in the stat sheet, but blocks like the one below have gone a long way in helping Detroit to its unbeaten record through the first three weeks.
.@lions remain 1 of 8 undefeated teams b/c of a lot of great individual performances. In other words, it is becoming a TEAM; that played complimentary football and all 3 phases collectively helped win a tough road matchup #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/VTiKTXAZXC

Jarius Wright, WR, Carolina Panthers
Wright got the call for the start in Carolina’s Week 3 matchup against Arizona. It was his first start of the year and 22nd of his career, but he only had two catches for 38 yards, one coming at the end of the first half and the other early in the third quarter. Wright’s numbers haven’t been eye-popping so far this season, but his presence on the field makes him a threat each time and allows his teammates target opportunities.
