#ProHogs In The NFL – Week 4 Schedule
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The National Football League (NFL) goes into Week 4 of its 17-week season starting tonight as the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The Packers are 3-0 and have been holding offenses under 20 points each week, but former Razorback Jason Peters and the Eagles will look to change that as they go for their second win of the season.
Peters has played nearly every snap this season and looks as healthy as ever in his 14th-year with 195 career games played. The Eagles are averaging just under 100 yards per game (99.7), which ranks 17th in the league, but will be going up against one of the worst run defenses in the NFL in the Packers, which are allowing 131 yards rushing per game, 8th in the league. Kickoff tonight is scheduled for 7:20 p.m. on FOX and NFL Network.
Smith Wants To Continue Honoring Girlfriend By Playing
Two weeks removed from the sudden death of his girlfriend, Petara Cordero, defensive end Chris Smith has continued to suit up for the Cleveland Browns and will continue to honor her with his new tattoo on his forearm that says “stay strong.” Smith says it’s not only an honor to his girlfriend, but also to the mother of his newborn daughter.
“She always had this tattoo that said ‘stay strong,’” Smith said. “I used to always pick at her about it. ‘Why don’t you just get more tattoos.’ We’re using it now.
“I just got to stay strong for everybody else. That’s the main thing. When they see me strong, it makes it a little easier. I’ve got to stay strong for everybody, for her, my daughter.”
Smith and the Browns take on the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday at Noon on CBS.
