#ProHogs in the NFL – Week 5
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Here’s a look at how 16 former Arkansas football players active on NFL rosters fared this past weekend in Week 5 of the 2023 NFL season.
BEST OF WEEK 5
Jerry Jacobs, CB, Detroit Lions
Along with posting four tackles (three solo), Jacobs notched his third interception in two weeks and returned it for 11 yards in Detroit’s (4-1) dominant 42-24 win vs. the Panthers. Producing three interceptions over the last two games, Jacobs is the first Lions CB to record 3+ interceptions in a two-game span since Darius Slay in 2017. Jacobs is part of a Lions defense that has only allowed 342 rushing yards, which ranks as the fewest rushing yards Detroit has allowed through the first 5 games of any season since at least 1932.
Dre Greenlaw, LB, San Francisco 49ers
Greenlaw played an integral role in a 49ers defense that limited the Cowboys to just 197 yards of total offense, including a miniscule 57 rushing yards, in the 42-10 Sunday night win. Greenlaw logged five tackles, one sack and one PDEF.
