Week 2 On Docket For #ProHogs

Week 1 Recap

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – With the book barely closed on Week 1, its already time for Week 2 in the NFL. A total of 18 former Razorbacks will be back on the field this weekend starting tonight when the New York Jets take on the Buffalo Bills at New Era Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:25 p.m. CT on CBS and the NFL Network.

Former Hog running back Jonathan Williams will look to take the field with the Bills tonight after he was listed as inactive in last week’s loss at Baltimore. Tonight will also be the Bills’ home opener and the first Color Rush game in the NFL this season.

Williams is coming off a strong preseason for Buffalo that included a pair of touchdowns, highlighted by a 37-yard score at Washington. Thursday’s Jets-Bills matchup can be seen live on Twitter. It’s the first of 10 Thursday night games this season that will be streamed on the app.

#ProHogs To Watch
Hunter Henry – TE San Diego Chargers
Henry got his first catch as a pro last week in the Chargers’ overtime loss to Kansas City and was on the field for almost half of the offensive snaps. Playing behind future hall of famer Antonio Gates, Henry and the Chargers will San Diego take on Jacksonville in their home opener Sunday at 3:25 p.m. on CBS. Henry will reunite with his former quarterback Brandon Allen, who made Jacksonville’s 53-man roster.

Darius Philon – DE San Diego Chargers
Fresh off a solo tackle performance against the Chiefs, Philon enters Week 2 as the first string defensive end for the Chargers. The two-year pro had six tackles during the preseason, five being solo and is looking healthy at the start of the season.

Travis Swanson – C Detroit Lions
After a strong offensive performance in Week 1, the Detroit Lions will look to continue that hot streak in Week 2 against Tennessee with center Travis Swanson at the forefront. Swanson graded out nicely at 84.2 percent after the Week 1 win over Indianapolis, the highest among all Lions players, and looks to have a firm grasp on the center position. The Lions and Titans face off on Sunday at Noon on CBS.
