Razorback Golfers Finish Tied for 12th at CordeValle Collegiate

SAN MARTIN, Calif. – The Arkansas golf team struggled down the finish in the final round of the CordeValle Collegiate on Tuesday at the 7,119-yard CordeValle Country Club.

The Razorbacks shot a 13-over-par round of 301 in the final round. UA opened with two rounds of 3-under-par 285 over the first 36 holes on Monday and finished at 7-over-par 871.

Stanford captured team honors with a 42-under-par 822 with Southern California in second at 28-under-par 236.

True freshman Andrew Hopkins led the way with a 1-over-par 73 on Tuesday. He finished in a tie for 25th place at 1-under par (215) for the tournament.

Andrew Landry slid down the leader board on Tuesday with a 3-over-par 75 that included a triple bogey and two bogeys over the final four holes. He finished in a tie for 33rd at even-par 216.

Jason Turner shot a 75 on Tuesday and finished tied for 50th place at 3-over-par 219. Scotty Campbell was five shots back in a tie for 68th place with an 8-over-par 224 for the tournament. Beau Glover finished in a tie for 81st at 227.

The CordeValle Collegiate wrapped up the Razorbacks fall schedule. Their next event is the John A. Burns Intercollegiate on Feb. 21-23, in at Wahinawa, Hawai’i.
