Reco Reaches ITF Final in Plaisir

PLAISIR, France– Arkansas senior Alex Reco had himself a week in France, winning seven matches at the ITF Plaisir event en route to a trip to the finals and a runner-up finish. 

Reco entered the event in his home country and put together back-to-back three set wins to start the main  draw. Reco continued his advance to the championship with straight set victories in the quarterfinals and  semifinals. Australian Tristan Schoolkate claimed the title against Reco Sunday morning, winning 6-4 7-5 in the  tight final match. 

Reco earned 12 ATP ranking points as a result of his performance in France. He will look to build upon his big  week in Plaisir when he returns to Fayetteville for a home ITF event taking place this week.
