PRIOR TO ARKANSAS: Redshirted his freshman season at Texas A&M-Commerce … Three-year letter winner in football at Lake Travis… Was a team captain and recorded 175 tackles, 10 sacks and two fumble recoveries in his high school career… Was a two-time All-District selection and a two-time Defensive Line MVP… Also was a regional qualifier in powerlifting… Team was a state finalist both his sophomore and senior seasons and won the State Championship his junior year… Was a two-time Academic All-District selection.
