Landon Jackson proved to be one of the nation’s most dominant pass rushers this season en route to claiming second-team praise on defense, tallying 44 total tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and one pass breakup. Jackson, who began his career at LSU, set career-highs in tackles (11), tackles for loss (3.5) and sacks (3.5) at Alabama (Oct. 14), recording his first career double-digit tackle performance in the breakout performance and claiming SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors. His 169 total return yards that night are the third-most in a single game in school history. He took over the sixth spot on the single season list in Arkansas history with 680 total return yards this season. The speedy Sategna led all SEC freshmen in both punt return average and kick return average.
Garnering fourth-team All-SEC honors, wide receiver Andrew Armstrong hauled in a team-high 56 receptions for 764 yards (13.6 ypc) and five touchdowns in his first year with the Razorbacks. Armstrong sat inside the SEC’s top-10 in receiving yards and receptions.
