Men's Golf - Arkansas Razorbacks

After a strong outing earlier this week at the Cabo Collegiate, the Arkansas men’s golf program hits the road to play in the Seminole Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday (Mar. 10-11) at the par 70 Glen Arven Country Club in Thomasville, Ga.

Razorback sophomore Thomas Curry was named the SEC co-Golfer of the week, sharing the recognition with Auburn’s Carson Bacha.

Thomas Curry tied his best 18-hole score in relation to par with a 5-under 66 to post his second top-5 of the season and lead Arkansas to a fourth-place finish in the 14-team CABO COLLEGIATE, played at the par-71 Twin Dolphin Club.

Arkansas had three golfers shoot under par on Monday and the Razorbacks posted a 2-under-par round of 282 to stand in fourth place after 36 holes at the 15th annual CABO COLLEGIATE, played at the par-71 Twin Dolphin Club.

Razorback Erich Fortlage has been named SEC Men’s Golf Freshman of the Week, the league announced today.

Arkansas went from seventh after round one, to second after round two thanks to a 13-under-par round and, down four with seven holes to play in the final round, posted a final-round, 10-under to repeat as the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate Champion.
