Erich Fortlage and John Daly II are tied for second and ninth, respectively, after the first day of the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate. The event is the spring opener for the Razorbacks, which won the event last year, and is played at the par-72 Palmas Del Mar CC Flamboyan Course.

The Arkansas men’s golf team will open the spring portion of its schedule by defending its title from last year at the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate this weekend (Feb. 9-11) in Puerto Rico.
