Abby Stanley enters her first year as an Operations Assistant for the Razorback track & field/cross country programs.
Prior to arriving in Fayetteville, Stanley served as an assistant to the Director of Operations and coaching staff for her alma mater Liberty University. At LU, she assisting with all phases of student-athlete development. Main responsibilities included: Organizing, scheduling, and leading practice times with coaching staff and student-athletes. Helping with planning & managing home meets during the cross country, indoor, and outdoor seasons.
Worked as a volunteer coach, assisting the Liberty Cross Country/Track & Field programs during the transition phase between coaches, filling the gap in the absence of men’s distance coach during the fall of 2016. Helped plan training, conditioning, & recovery programs that developed competitive athletes, resulting in 9th and 22nd place finishes for the men’s and women’s distance teams at the 2016 NCAA Division I Southeast Regional Championships. Worked alongside coach Dr. Tim Sykes in the winter/spring of 2017, assisting in training & facilitating practices and identifying and building a recruiting database.
Before her time at Liberty University, Stanley was a Communications Strategist Manager at Your Creative People. At YCP, Stanley spearheaded a new department within a full-service marketing agency for providing strategic communications options to clients.
A 2014 graduate of Bob Jones University, Stanley went on to earn her MBA from Liberty University in May of 2018. A former student-athlete, Stanley was an NCAA Scholar-Athlete as well as the MVP for her cross country team at Bob Jones University.
