Sweeney Named to SEC Community Service Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Sophomore Jake Sweeney has been named Arkansas’ representative on the 2023 SEC Men’s Tennis Community Service Team, the league announced Wednesday.

In a continuing effort to recognize the accomplishments of student-athletes beyond the field of competition, the SEC once again highlighted a Community Service Team for men’s tennis for the 2022-23 season.

In his two years at Arkansas, Jake Sweeney has proven to be a leader on and off the court as he has participated in various projects around the community. Jake’s mission is focused on spreading the sport of tennis to more youth by volunteering at local tennis matches to encourage the upcoming generation of tennis players and also volunteering with Center Court Tennis, a program designed to teach tennis to kids with disabilities.

The Razorbacks close out the regular season at home this weekend, facing Alabama on Friday, April 14 and Tennessee on Sunday, April 16.
