Switzer wins second Emmy for Hogs+
Hogs+, the official content network for Arkansas Athletics, is proud to announce that for the second time in its existence, the network has won a Mid-America Regional Emmy Award.
On Saturday night, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences held their annual banquet in St. Charles, Missouri, where Hogs+ was named the winner in the brand-new category of Sports Interview/Discussion for its work with “Switzer.”
Hogs+ took home an Emmy in 2023 for its work with “Do You Believe In Fairytales?” – a film on the women’s basketball team’s improbable Final Four run in 1997-98. In total, the network has earned five Emmy nominations throughout the years.
“These accolades are such a tremendous representation of the incredible work that our team produces day in and day out. The stories that have been told throughout the years are a testament to the relationships they’ve built and the special bond that has been built with the Arkansas fans,” Sport & Story President Victor Vitarelli said.
Switzer is a three-part original film series that chronicles the life and career of legendary football figure Barry Switzer, from his early life in Arkansas to his time at Arkansas and Oklahoma and his eventual role as the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.
