Three Razorbacks Earn All-SEC Honors
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas placed three representatives on the 2025 Coaches All-SEC teams, as redshirt senior OL Fernando Carmona, junior DL Quincy Rhodes Jr., and senior RB Mike Washington Jr. all earned second team recognition, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Carmona earned All-SEC honors for the second consecutive year after being selected to the third team a year ago. With back-to-back All-SEC nods Carmona is the first Razorback offensive lineman to earn All-SEC honors in consecutive years since Frank Ragnow in 2016-17. He started in all 25 games on the offensive line during his two seasons as a Razorback and finished his collegiate career with a 49-game start streak dating back to his redshirt freshman season at San Jose State in 2022. The Las Vegas, Nev., product was part of an Arkansas offensive line that blocked for 5,102 yards of total offense and paved the way for six games of 500+ yards of total offense during the 2025 season. Additionally, Carmona and the Hogs allowed 29 sacks, which was the fewest by an Arkansas team since 2019 (19 sacks). Carmona played a big role in blocking for Mike Washington Jr., who rushed for 1,070 total yards, becoming the Razorbacks’ first 1,000-yard rusher since Raheim “Rocket” Sanders in 2022.
Rhodes Jr. had a breakout junior season in 2025, tallying 44 total tackles with a team-leading 15.5 tackles for loss in addition to eight sacks, six quarterback hurries, and a forced fumble. His 15.5 tackles for loss were the most by an Arkansas defender since Trey Flowers (15.5 TFL) in 2015. He also became the first Hog to register double-digit tackles in a season since Landon Jackson (13.5 TFL) in 2023 and was the first Razorback to record three multi-sack games in a season since Tre Williams in 2021. Rhodes finished the regular season ranking 13th nationally and second in the SEC in tackles for loss per game (1.23) and 23rd nationally in sacks per game (0.67). The North Little Rock native tallied six tackles, including 4.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and a forced fumble against Mississippi State on Nov. 1. He was one of three Power 4 defenders to register 4.5 tackles for loss in a game this season, alongside Stephen Daley of Indiana and Caden Curry of Ohio State. Additionally, his 4.5 tackles for loss were the most in a single game by an Arkansas defender since 2005.
Washington Jr., became the 16th player in program history and first Razorback since Raheim “Rocket” Sanders in 2022 to register a 1,000+ yard rushing season after rushing 167 times for 1,070 yards and eight touchdowns in 2025. The Utica, N.Y. product tallied five 100+ yard rushing games while running for a touchdown in seven of the Hogs’ 12 games this season. He also became the first Razorback to reach 100+ rushing yards in back-to-back games against an SEC opponent since Alex Collins in 2015, after running for 131 yards at Tennessee (Oct. 11) and 147 yards against Texas A&M (Oct. 18). Washington Jr. also tallied 28 receptions for 226 yards and a touchdown during his 2025 campaign.
In addition to the all-league accolades, Carmona and Washington Jr. recently accepted invitations to appear in the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl, which will be played on Saturday, January 31, at 1:30 p.m. inside Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama.
