UA Pep Rallies Planned for NCAA Tournament; Noisemakers Not Allowed in Arena

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Razorback cheerleaders, the Hogwild Pep Band and Big Red are having a “Go Hogs” pep rally before each Arkansas game in this week’s NCAA Tournament at Dallas.

Arkansas faces Bucknell Friday at 11:30 a.m. in the first round of the tournament at the American Airlines Center.

The pep rallies will take place outside the north entrance to the arena.

Friday’s pep rally is set for 10 a.m.

If the Razorbacks advance to the second round, they play on Sunday at either 1:15 or 3:45 p.m. If Arkansas plays at 1:15, the pep rally is at 11:45 a.m. If the Hogs play at 3:45, the pep rally is at 12:45.

The NCAA has announced artificial noisemakers will not be allowed into any NCAA Tournament games.

The Razorbacks are 22-9 while Bucknell is 24-6. The winner of that game plays the Memphis-Oral Roberts winner on Sunday. Sunday’s game times will be announced later in the week.
