USA Championships start Thursday

EUGENE, Ore. – Select current and former members of the Arkansas Razorback women’s track and field team will compete at the USA Championships, Thursday-Sunday, June 25-28, at Oregon’s Hayward Field.

Current members of the squad competing include Shelise Williams in the 400 meters, Cali George in the junior 3,000-meter steeplechase, Catherine White in the 10,000 meters, Katie Stripling in the pole vault, Whitney Jones in the junior 200 meters and long jump, Etienne Chaplin in the heptathlon and Leah Orley in the junior heptathlon.

Razorback alums that are competing include LaShaunte’a Moore in the 100 meters and 200 meters, Christin Wurth-Thomas and Dacia (Barr) Perkins in the 1,500 meters, Amy Yoder Begley in the 10,000 meters, Gi-Gi (Miller) Johnson in the heptathlon and the 100-meter hurdles and April Steiner Bennett in the pole vault.
