FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. —  After another amazing run into the SEC Tournament final, the Arkansas soccer team is looking ahead to the upcoming NCAA Tournament, which begins this Friday on various campus sites.

All 64 teams that make the tournament field will be announced as part of the NCAA Selection Show, which will air this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. CT on NCAA.com.

The Razorbacks (13-4-4) are expecting to hear their name called for the fifth time in the last six years and the sixth time in school history after racking up 13 wins this season and a third-place finish in the SEC.

Arkansas is also in a good position to be a host school for the first-round matchup with its RPI at No. 26 in the nation and an unbeaten record (9-0-1) at Razorback Field. It’s the first time in program history that Arkansas has gone unbeaten at home during the regular season and one win shy of tying the school record for home wins in a season.

Arkansas’ only other time it has hosted an NCAA match occurred in 2016 when the Razorbacks faced Memphis and Arkansas moved on to the second round with a 2-1 victory in overtime.

If Razorback Field is selected as a host site for the first-round game, ticket info will be sent out to fans via the Razorback Ticket Office and on all social media accounts. Links to buy tickets online will also be posted on ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
