Razorbacks repeat as winners of Program of the Year honor

NEW ORLEANS – For the second consecutive year the Arkansas Razorbacks have claimed the Terry Crawford Program of the Year for the top combined finish at the three national championships held in cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field for the 2022-23 seasons.

With a total of 25 points the Razorbacks finished ahead of Oregon, runner-up with 29.5 points. The rest of the top five schools includes Texas (34), Alabama (37.5), Notre Dame (37.5), and Stanford (37.5).

Arkansas placed 21st in NCAA Cross Country last fall, then won the NCAA Indoor championship and completed the season placing third at NCAA Outdoor

Arkansas earned the annual award for the first time in 2021-22, bettering BYU by 1.5 points, 18 to 19.5.

Prior to claiming the Program of the Year honor last year, the Razorbacks were runner-up three times (2020-21, 2015-16, 2014-15) and finished third on four occasions (2018-19, 2016-17, 2013-14, 2012-13).

Arkansas has finished among the top five each of the past 10 seasons.
