Razorbacks Seek Greatness In Orange Beach

Tournament Bracket

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – After finishing the regular season 15-4-0 overall and 8-3-0 in Southeastern Conference play, Razorback Soccer is headed to the SEC Tournament at Orange Beach, Alabama, for the fourth time in five years under head coach Colby Hale.

Arkansas locked down a third-place finish in the SEC and earned a first-round bye after defeating LSU 2-0 Thursday night in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The Razorbacks will face sixth-seeded Vanderbilt in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 2:30 p.m. CT in a nationally televised broadcast on SEC Network. Arkansas last faced Vanderbilt at home on Oct. 6, posting a 4-0 shutout win in front of 1,356 fans.

If Arkansas advances, the semifinal match will take place Friday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. CT on SEC Network. The SEC Championship will be played Sunday, Nov. 6 at 3 p.m. CT and will be broadcast live on ESPNU.

Five players on the roster have at least six goals on the season: Senior Lindsey Mayo and freshman Kayla McKeon lead Arkansas with eight goals each; senior Claire Kelley and junior Jessi Hartzler each have seven goals and freshman Stefani Doyle has scored six times.

Kelley leads all Razorbacks with 27 points and a career season-high 13 assists. She only needs one more assist to top Arkansas’ current assists leader, Holly Collins, who tallied 26 helpers during her time as a Razorback from 1997-2001.

Senior goalkeeper Cameron Carter also topped her individual season win total on Thursday, improving to 15-4 and topping the 14-win mark she set during her freshman season.
