Soccer Receives a 2-Seed for NCAA Tournament

FAYETTEVILLE – The 2024 NCAA DI Women’s Soccer Tournament bracket is out and Arkansas is a 2-seed, the selection committee announced Monday afternoon.

The Razorbacks (14-2-2) will host Oklahoma State (14-4-3) in the first round, set for Friday, Nov. 15 at 6:30 p.m. The winner of Friday’s match will play the winner of California and 7-seed Pepperdine in the second round.

The Hogs and Pokes will meet for the eighth time and last faced off on the pitch in 2014 in Fayetteville, where Arkansas won 2-1.

It’s the third time in the last four tournaments the Hogs have earned a 2-seed, the highest placement in program history. Head coach Colby Hale has led the program to all 11 NCAA Tournament appearances.

Arkansas joins Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Vanderbilt to represent the SEC.
