Soccer to Host Back to School Block Party On Sunday

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Coming off an undefeated season at home in 2018, the Razorbacks will open the regular season on the road against UNC-Greensboro before returning home on Sunday, August 25th to host the Oklahoma Sooners for a 6 p.m. kickoff.

Back to School Block Party

To celebrate back to school and the start of soccer season, the Razorback Soccer team is going all out as they host the Back to School Block Party on Sunday, August 25th. This free, family event will occur on a closed-off Carlson Road (located on the north side of Razorback Field) from 4:30-6 p.m. and fans can expect a carnival atmosphere with kids giveaways including the 2019 Kids Scarf, giant inflatables, food and sno-cone trucks, face painters, balloon twisters and more! Kickoff for the match is at 6 p.m. Adult season tickets, including a Razorback Soccer scarf, cost just $25. Single-match adult tickets are $5 with kids 17 and under free.

Match Promotions

  • For University of Arkansas Students (be loud and come hungry)
    • All U of A students will receive a limited-edition Razorback Soccer Scarf and free food at the match! As always, admission for students is free with a valid UA student I.D.
  • Fan Promotions
    • Two lucky fans will walk away with a football fan pack which includes a signed football from head coach Chad Morris, football t-shirts, and two tickets to the 2019 football home opener vs. Portland State on August 31.
    • Fans will have an opportunity to take home a commemorative opening night match poster featuring the Razorbacks’ match-up vs. the Oklahoma Sooners.
    • All kids in attendance will also receive bracelets, sunglasses, noisemakers and more to help push the Razorbacks to victory.
  • Razorback Marching Band and Spirit Squads Halftime Performance
    • Watch the Razorback Marching band and Spirit Squads at halftime as they perform for the very first time this athletics season.
  • Junior Razorback Day: All JRB members will be welcomed to the match and can participate in a special pregame parade.

The Razorbacks are coming off just the third 14-plus win season in school history and third-straight appearance in the SEC Tournament final. Head coach Colby Hale led the program to its fifth NCAA Tournament appearance in six years, hosting the first round of the NCAA Tournament for the second time in program history. Season tickets are now on sale for $25. Each season ticket order includes a 2019 Razorback Soccer scarf and can be purchased here.
