Lance Pedersen is in his second year as an operations assistant for the Arkansas men’s and women’s cross country, track and field programs.
Pedersen assists Razorbacks director of operations Matt Downs and Megan Elliott in multiple capacities, including equipment management, home meet management and operations, along with team travel.
His role includes administrative responsibilities and serving as an on-campus recruiting coordinator for the program. In addition to assisting with meet operations, Pedersen manages hospitality areas during home events for officials/volunteers and VIPs along with team meals.
A 2018 graduate of the University of Arizona from the College of Medicine with a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Science – Physiology, Pedersen was a member of the Wildcat track and field, cross country teams for two seasons (2016-2018). He is currently working on a Master’s of Education in Recreation and Sports Management from the University of Arkansas.
Organization operations Pedersen remains involved in with properties in Tucson, Arizona, include the Omni Tucson National Resort and JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort. Pedersen assists with operations for banquets and schedules for multiple events per week for groups ranging up to 1200 people.
