Gymbacks Host Huskers for Senior Night at BWA

No. 12 Arkansas will complete its regular season on Friday night as the Razorbacks are set to host the No. 29 Nebraska Cornhuskers at Bud Walton Arena.

The Gymbacks are coming off another solid performance in which they scored their seventh score of 197+ on the season in a loss against the No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners. Prior to the 2024 slate, Arkansas had scored 197+ 22 times, 12 of which were under head coach Jordyn Wieber dating back to 2020. Now in her fifth season at the helm, she has led the Hogs to 65 percent of the program’s 197+ marks.

A win against Nebraska on Friday would be the eighth for Arkansas (7-6-1), which would be the most regular season wins since 2012 for the Gymbacks and tied for third-most ever.

The Huskers currently sit at No. 29 in the country with a 196.550 team NQS to the No. 12 Gymbacks’ 197.360. Nebraska’s highest NQS comes on floor with a 49.390, good for 20th in the country. Arkansas has a 49.525 floor NQS, which checks in at No. 9.

Friday’s meet is the second in Bud Walton Arena for the Gymbacks in the regular season, and it will also be the site of the NCAA Fayetteville Regional April 3-6. A total of 9,771 fans were on hand to watch the Hogs take on the Sooners last week, the third-best attendance in program history.

The regular season finale will also serve as Senior Night, with Emma Kelley, Sirena Linton and Jensen Scalzo being honored post-meet. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., team intros begin at 6:45, and first vault will be at 7:00.

Tickets are available online or in-person. The meet will also be streamed live on SEC Network+.
