Hogs Continue Successful Run at Speedo Sectionals

Columbia, Mo. – After day three concluded at the Speedo Sectionals, Arkansas Swimming completed a successful day of competition. Bradi Jones finished first in the 100m Breaststroke with a time of 1:10.78, and Reilly Shaner finished fourth with a time of 1:12.78. While in the 50m Backstroke, Andrea Sansores and Kobie Melton both had personal best. Andrea Sansores finished first with a time of 28.74, however, Kobie Melton finished second with a time of 29.18.

“It was another fun day for our Lady Razorbacks. 2 events, 2 gold medals, 1 silver, 1 4th place, 3 lifetime best performances, and 2 championship records. Our small team is being noticed for our high level of performance,” stated head coach Neil Harper.  These six ladies are focused and have worked hard in the spring and summer to earn this improvement and success. Kobie broke the championship record in the heats and then she and Andrea battled it out in the final and Andrea just out-touched Kobie for the gold and the new record!”
