Hogs Wearing Rare Uniform Combination for Southwest Classic

ARLINGTON – The Razorbacks will take the field at AT&T Stadium in Arlington wearing white helmets, red jerseys and white pants – a combination that hasn’t been worn since 2018.

It’s also the first time the white-red-white combination will be worn under head coach Sam Pittman and the first time using the combination with the “McFadden era” uniform system that returned in 2019.

White helmets, red jerseys and white pants were worn twice in 2018 – once against Ole Miss in Little Rock and again later in the season on the road at Mississippi State (the Bulldogs were wearing gray alternates). Prior to that, it was worn against Rutgers in 2012.

The Hogs have been known to change things up for the Southwest Classic game, wearing all white in 2022 and wearing special Cowboys-inspired Razorback uniforms in 2017 to honor Jerry Jones’ induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In 2012 and then again in 2014 Arkansas wore the white-white-white combination vs. the Aggies. Last season, the Razorbacks wore all white.
