­FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas wraps up the 2023-24 regular season on Saturday (Mar. 8) when the Razorbacks travel to Tuscaloosa to face #16/17 Alabama Crimson Tide. Tipoff is set for 11 am (CT) and the game will be televised on ESPN.

NOTES:

  • This will be the 69th meeting between Arkansas and Alabama. All but 10 have come since Arkansas joined the SEC.
  • The Razorbacks own a 36-32 advantage in the series but the series is tied 29-29 in SEC meetings.
  • The home team has dominated the series. Arkansas is 20-7 versus Alabama in Fayetteville but the Crimson Tide is 22-8 in games played in Tuscaloosa (21-8 in SEC games).
  • Along those lines of home-team success, since the arrival of Eric Musselman and Nate Oates in 2019-20, Arkansas will be playing its fifth game in Tuscaloosa with the Tide coming to Arkansas just twice. Alabama holds a 4-2 advantage in the six games of the Muss era.
  • Despite its struggles this season, Arkansas still ranks among the SEC best for wins since Eric Musselman arrived (2019-20). Alabama is first with 112 wins, followed by Tennessee (111), Arkansas (110) and Auburn (110). Arkansas leads SEC with 71 home wins in the Muss era with 71, followed by Tennessee (68), Auburn (68), Kentucky (67) and Alabama (63).
  • Speaking of Muss wins, after the LSU win Coach Musselman has 220 collegiate wins – 110 at Nevada and 110 at Arkansas.
  • Alabama’s Mark Sears and Arkansas’ Khalif Battle are 1-2 in the SEC in free throws made and attempted. Battle is 2nd in the SEC in FT (157) and FTA (183) in 675 minutes played. Sears is 1st in the SEC in FT (166) and FTA (191) in 974 minutes played.
  • Arkansas has scored 80-plus in four straight games. Arkansas has scored 50-plus points in the second half in four straight games. Arkansas scored a then season-high 24 fast break points at Kentucky then bettered it versus LSU with 26.
