FAYETTEVILLE – After a week off due to final exams, Arkansas returns to the hardwood and will host Oral Roberts on Sunday (Dec. 20). Tipoff is set for 1 pm and the game will be telecast on SEC Network.

  • This will be the 13th all-time meeting between Arkansas and Oral Roberts. The Razorbacks own a 10-2 advantage in the series, including a 7-0 mark in Fayetteville.
  • Oral Roberts, picked second in the Summit League preseason poll, is the fourth of five Razorback non-conference opponents that were picked first or second in their league this preseason. The fifth school on the list will be Tuesday when Arkansas hosts Abilene Christian – preseason #@, defending league champion and among those receiving votes for the top 25 each of the last two weeks.
  • Eric Musselman is the only Razorback coach to start each of his first two years at least 6-0. This is Arkansas’ first time to start 6-0 in back-to-back years since 1992-93 and 1993-94. As of games played through Thursday, there are 45 teams still undefeated, but (as of games through Wed – Dec. 16) just 10 that have played at least six games.
  • Connor Vanover has made 10 3-pointers, blocked 20 shots and averages 9.0 rebounds per game. As of games played through Thursday, Vanover is the only player in the nation with at least 10 made 3’s, at least 15 blocked shots and a rebound average of at least 9.0.
  • Arkansas has five players averaging double digits — Moses Moody (16.0), JD Notae (13.3), Justin Smith (12.3), Desi Sills (11.7) and Jalen Tate (10.5) — with Connor Vanover just missing the list at 9.8 ppg.
