@RazorbackGym To Host Light Up The Night This Friday
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas marketing department has announced that this Friday’s gymnastics meet against co-defending national champion, and second-ranked, Florida, will be its ‘Light up the Night’ promotion. There will also be a handstand contest at the meet, where the winner will receive a pair of free braces courtesy of Arkansas Braces.
The first 1,000 fans in attendance for the Feb. 6 meet will receive a pair of free red glow-in-the-dark glasses to help the Razorbacks light up Barnhill Arena against the Gators. Also, the first 250 Arkansas students in attendance will get a free Arkansas gymnastics t-shirt.
The big promotion of the night will be a handstand contest, where the winner will earn a free pair of braces from Arkansas Braces, valued at $6,000.
20 contestants will compete in the floor exercise area to see who can hold the longest handstand. 12 of these contestants will be pre-selected by Arkansas Braces, while the remaining eight will be chosen at the meet.
Fans can sign up to be pre-selected at any Arkansas Braces location in the Northwest Arkansas area or by filling out the form provided here.
The Razorbacks will host the co-defending national champion at 6:45 p.m. on Friday in Barnhill Arena.
