As A Graduate Student (2022-23)
Melton in her final year as a Razorback, Melton swam a personal-best of 52.06 in the 100-backstroke at the NCAA Championships… Melton earned Honorable Mention honors with a 14th-place finish in the 400-freestyle relay with a team of 3:14.48… earned two more Honorable Mention honors in the 200-freestyle relay (13th place) and the 200-medley relay (15th place)… Melton picked up a personal-best in the 100-backstroke with a 52.19 at the SEC Championships… Melton also earned a third-place finish in the 400-freestyle relay with a 3:13.60 at the SEC Championship… Melton clocked a personal-best of 1:56.62 in the 200-backstroke in the meet against Liberty…
As a Senior (2021-22)
Melton wrapped the season with a 15th-place finish in the 400-freestyle relay at NCAA Championship where she help post the fastest time in school history with a 3.13.31. She also help the second fastest time in school history in the 200-freestyle relay, in which the relay team finished 14th with a time of 1:27.95. Melton earned Honorable Mention All-American with her 14th and 15th finishes at the NCAA Championship. She also put up the fourth and fifth fastest time in school history in the 100-backstroke.
As A Junior (2020-21)
In her third year, Melton clocked three personal-best at the Missouri Invitational 50-freestyle (22.50), 100-freestyle (48.98 leadoff relay split), and 100-backstroke (53.73)… At the SEC Championships Melton swam a personal-best in the 50-freestyle (22.18) earning her an eight-place finish.. Melton earned another eight-place finish in the 100-backstroke with a personal-best time of 52.91…
As A Sophomore (2019-20)
Melton earned three NCAA B-cut times at the Mizzou Invitational in the 50-freestyle (22.63 leadoff relay split), 100-freestyle (49.35 leadoff relay split), and 100-butterfly (53.15)…
As a Freshman (2018-2019)
Melton was a part of the 200 Medley Relay that upset UGA and shocked the swimming world(1:41.48)… Melton also set two new PR’s in the 50 (22.63) and 100 free(49.17)… Was a part of two winning relays at the Houston meet… Finished the season with three first-place finishes, six-second, and three third-place… At the USA Swimming Nationals, Melton’s time in the 50 free qualified her for Olympic trials, along with making the NCAA ‘B’ cut for 100 free, 100 fly, and 100 back.
Prior to Arkansas
Melton is a two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American and NISCA All-American… At the 2016 AHSAA 6A-7A Division Swimming and Diving Championships, she won the 100 back in a time of 55.99 and finished runner-up in the 200 free in 1:50.36… She is a 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials qualifier in the 100 back, clocking a 1:03.09 in the prelims… Her top times include a 23.69 mark in the 50 free, 50.45 in the 100 free and 1:49.97 in the 200 free… Her top 100 back time is 54.69.
