Breast Cancer Survivors To Be Recognized at Spring Game

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas football will recognize breast cancer survivors during halftime of the 2015 Red and White Spring Game at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, Saturday.

In partner with Susan G. Komen, the Razorbacks are inviting all survivors and fighters of breast cancer to take part in the recognition during halftime. Those breast cancer survivors who wish to participate in the on-field ceremony should report with 10 minutes remaining in the second quarter to the marketing table near Gate 1 on the Southwest corner of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Participants will then be escorted to the field by Razorback Athletics’ staff members.

“We invite all those who have fought breast cancer to join us at halftime so we may recognize them,” Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Jeff Long says. “Breast cancer has and continues to significantly impact our families, our friends and so many within our state and throughout the world. As a Razorback Nation we want to salute the extraordinary courage of all breast cancer survivors while raising awareness of the ongoing battle.”

Arkansas’ 2015 Red & White Spring Game will start at 1 p.m. in Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium and is free and open to the public.
