Hogs+ to Premiere “One Five” - The Story of Ryan Mallett
“Larger Than Life”
It’s a saying that is thrown around about various personalities, but no one embodied that statement more than Arkansas legendary quarterback Ryan Mallett.
A native of Batesville, Ark. returned to his home state in 2009 to take over the reins of the Razorback offense. On the field, Mallett lit up opposing offenses, putting together two of the most prolific passing seasons in program history—shattering record books along the way. Off the field, his presence was felt in every room he walked into—making an impact on countless lives.
Hogs+ is proud to announce its latest original film, One Five, chronicling the legendary and tragic tale of Mallett’s journey to Arkansas, into the NFL, on to the coaching realms and his sudden and heartbreaking passing in 2023.
The film features exclusive interviews with key players and coaches—Tyler Wilson, Jarius Wright, Joe Adams, Cobi Hamilton, Travis Swanson, Grant Cook, Ben Cleveland, and many more notable people from Ryan’s life and career.
In conjunction with the 15th anniversary of the 2010 team, in which Mallett led to a historic run to the Sugar Bowl against Ohio State, the film is set to premiere this fall on HogsPlus.com as well as on the Hogs+ TV streaming apps and the Arkansas Razorbacks mobile app.
One Five is the latest production from Emmy winning Hogs+ Producer Haley Ordway, whose previous films include Resurgence, Redemption, Walk on Air, Do You Believe in Fairy Tales, Why Not You: The Lance Harter Legacy and mini-series Switzer and 100 Seasons of Razorback Men’s Basketball.
