Razorbacks Vault To No. 1 In National Poll
In the third installment of the Boost Treadmill Cross Country men’s national poll, Arkansas moved into the No. 1 position following a victory in the Blazer Classic hosted by UAB.
Previously ranked fourth, the Razorbacks defeated a nine-team field with a score of 29 points as they placed seven runners among the top 12.
Following Arkansas among the top five in this week’s poll are Northern Arizona, Oklahoma State, Iowa State and BYU. Occupying places six through 10 are Notre Dame, Texas, Mississippi, Virginia, and NC State.
Other SEC schools in the poll include Kentucky at No. 15 while Georgia, Missouri and Tennessee are receiving votes.
The next poll will be released following multiple conference championships that will take place on the last weekend of October. Arkansas travels to Baton Rouge, La., for the SEC Championships, held on Friday, Oct. 30.
