Tough Test Awaits Razorbacks

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas remains on the road for its second consecutive Southeastern Conference contest traveling to Missouri for a 7 p.m. tip on Thursday.

Arkansas (12-4, 1-1 SEC) has back-to-back road games twice during the conference season. The Razorbacks defeated Ole Miss, 85-55, on Sunday and now face a Missouri (13-3, 2-0 SEC) team who defeated No. 10 Tennessee in Knoxville over the weekend.

The Razorbacks travel to Kentucky (Feb. 17) and to Georgia (Feb. 21) in the other two-game road swing.

Chelsea Dungee, Malica Monk and Alexis Tolefree continue to be offensive threats for the Razorbacks. Dungee in fourth in the SEC averaging 17.5 points per game. She leads the league and ranks 11th in Division 1 for both free throws made and attempted.

As a team, Arkansas ranks first in the league with just 190 turnovers and they lead the conference and rank seventh in DI averaging 11.9 turnovers per game.

About Missouri
The Tigers are 13th in the SEC with a -2.4-turnover margin. They average 15.9 miscues per contest which is 10th in the conference and an area Arkansas may be able to exploit in Thursday’s game.

The Tigers are holding opponents to just 56.4 points per game, well below Arkansas’ 74.9 ppg average. The Missouri offense runs through senior Sophie Cunningham who averages 16.0 ppg and Amber Smith with 14.0 ppg this season.
