Hatcher, Williams Join On The Air With Bret Bielema
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – “On the Air with Bret Bielema,” Coach Bielema’s weekly radio show presented by AT&T and Lindsey, returns on Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the Catfish Hole in Fayetteville. The season’s fifth episode will feature senior wide receiver Keon Hatcher and senior running back Jonathan Williams.
Chuck Barrett, the voice of the Razorbacks, will host head coach Bret Bielema while fans can make reservations to attend the shows by calling the Catfish Hole at 479-521-7008. Tickets are $25 and include all you can eat dinner buffet with catfish, shrimp and chicken.
Hatcher led the SEC in receiving yards (198) and was tied for second in receptions (13) through two weeks before suffering an injury late in the game against Toledo. During Arkansas’ season opener against UTEP, Hatcher’s six receptions resulted in 106 yards and two touchdowns, putting him over 1,000 yards for his career. The 100-yard game was the second of Hatcher’s career while his 13 receptions and 198 yards were both career-bests over any two-game stretch in his career.
Williams entered the 2015 season as Arkansas’ No. 10 all-time leading rusher with 2,321 career rushing yards before suffering a foot injury during preseason camp that has kept him sidelined. His 5.72 career yards per rush average ranks sixth all-time at Arkansas and his 1,190 rushing yards in 2014 was the eighth-best single-season mark in Razorback history. The Allen, Texas native was named to the preseason watch list for the Maxwell Award and Doak Walker Award.
The show will be carried throughout the state of Arkansas on the Razorback Sports Network and locally in Fayetteville on 92.1 FM and 93.3 FM.
Arkansas will open its 2015 SEC season on Saturday against No. 14 Texas A&M at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Kick off is slated for 6 p.m. on ESPN.
