ALL EYES ON…

Senior Taylor Ellis-Watson is the top individual (non-relay) performer for the Razorbacks from the 2015 NCAA Indoor Championships. Ranked fourth nationally in the 200-meter dash this season, Ellis-Watson will open up her premiere event, the 400-meter dash, on Saturday at noon.

Cabot, Ark. native Lexi Weeks was the top collegian in the pole vault at New Mexico’s Cherry & Silver Invitational last weekend. Weeks is the only female true freshman with an NCAA leading-mark of 4.50m/14-9. Still in pursuit of a 15-foot clearance, vaulting in her home facility could earn her that new personal best.

The multi events on Friday will see pentathlon All-Americans Taliyah Brooks, Leigha Brown and Alex Gochenour compete against conference rivals and Georgia Bulldogs Xenia Rahn and Kendell Williams. All five competitors finished in the top 12 at the 2015 NCAA Indoor Championships. Williams holds the NCAA pentathlon record with her score of 4678 from last year’s national meet.

Newcomers Payton Stumbaugh and Kelsey Herman will also start their pentathlon careers as Razorbacks on Friday.

Fresh off a strong international performance with Team USA’s cross country team, freshman Devin Clark will take on the 3,000-meter run in her first collegiate track meet. Clark assisted the Razorbacks to a ninth place team finish at the 2015 NCAA Cross Country Championships crossing the line to place 48th overall.

Following racing to a new personal best at 3,000 meters in the Gladstein Invitational, junior Regan Ward will also be in action in the invitational section of the event on Saturday. Ward’s time of 9:30.51 is currently the third best in the SEC this season.

The mile will feature 2015 NCAA DMR champion Jessica Kamilos and All-American transfer Nikki Hiltz who placed eighth in the mile as a freshman at the 2015 NCAA Championships with Oregon.
